On Monday, June 19, 2023, a delegation from Zakho University, represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Sherzad Z. Mohammed, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Dr. Range M. Nori, Dean of the College of Basic Education, Dr. Othman A. Omar, Director of the Career Development Center, Mr. Lawand I. Mohammed, and Mr. Barozh H. Abdi, participated in a week-long training course at the University of Pavia in Italy.

It is worth mentioning that this course was organized by the University of Pavia with the support of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union. Around 15 universities from America, Europe, and Asia participated in the program.

During the course, topics related to internationalizing universities, staff and student exchange, and career development were discussed. Additionally, the program included sessions on Italy's history, culture, and language, making it a comprehensive and enriching experience.
